You never know
I just had the most wonderful experience today. A parent came up to me and said she had taken her 18 year old son off to college (my former student) and as she was unpacking a box she came across two items he wanted to be placed on his desk top. They were framed notes from me. One I wrote when his best friend, my former student, died as a freshman in high school and the second was when he made National Honor Society. They were notes from me, his lil' ole Second Grade teacher. I was shocked that those notes had made that impact, I was honored by his regard, and I've got something good to carry with me forever. You never know your impact....
