He celebrated by working in the morning! Whatever makes him happy! Here's a photo of Ed and I and my sister, Beth, and her husband Rick.
Ed just returned from Bellingham helping them remodel a home they recently purchased. It's on five acres. (We tease Beth that the place should be fondly called, Green Acres. It doesn't please her much.)
Then we went to Faithful Pilot for dinner. And it was a nice dinner and we used to always think it was so 'gourmet', but eating in Chicago has spoiled us....
Then we went to a play in East Village, Five Women Wearing the Same Dress. It was OK, but the most fun was that it was written by Alan Ball, who wrote Six Feet Under and American Beauty. It was one of his earlier plays.
And here is a photo of the gift he received many years ago and he enjoys and relishes and is thankful for every day.
