"It's not where you take things from - it's where you take them to."
-Jean-Luc Goddard
Love that.
As a teacher that's all I do is take things from...
But don't we all? We see something in life and savor it, memorize, leave it, or remake it into something we own.
I've been looking at lots of blogs lately; somewhat of an obsession. I'm into the design blogs. I love fashion and I really love contemporary design, even though I don't decorate like that (we've always decorated according to house style and I've comprised with Ed's style, not as modern as mine.) Nonetheless, I love to look at design or what catches people's eye.
Josh has a blog where he finds images that say something to him and I appreciate his sense of style.
I'm comfortable with my style, however to help someone else with their style (Natalie's talent) I'm just not as good at. Even though people I work with or my friends think I am, my kids (in-laws included) put my talents to shame. They are all four VERY GOOD at style and design and color and decor.
So I've added some blogs to my blog list on the right, should you want to peruse where I have been.
Also something I've taken is this list. I love it. I have found so many items I need to embrace more.
