My Latest Read

is The Paris Wife.

It;s the story of Hemingway and his first wife, Hadley.

She is considered the Paris wife because for most of their marriage they lived in Paris and this is the time when Hemingway comes to the literary world.

I can't say it was a page turner, but yet I was mesmerized.

I already knew the ending, but I kept reading to see how they ended it.

It was fiction based on reality, so you know the conversation wasn't accurate, but nonetheless it gives a view of the artistic world in Europe at the time.

My, my, why did anyone complain about the 60s?

Here's a review.

And the author talking about her book, which I really enjoyed.
