I really enjoyed it for mindless movie viewing.
I can't say the story line was anything profound, just light, easy entertainment. Roger Ebert says it better than I.
I read Jane Fonda's blog and she posted about being in this movie a couple of years ago and I thought it looked fun then. Maybe it was because of the tie dyed clothing, anit-war protests, peace signs all over a painted school bus, or an old VW Beetle that the props department managed to round up.I thoroughly enjoyed the step back to the 60s and the attitudes and attire.
Maybe I've posted about this before but when I was in college I signed my letters home, Peace and Love.
My mother thought I was into drugs. (I was not.)
It was a historic time, not to be replicated yet.
