Yesterday

was Wine Club.

We were studying Rose wines.

The favorite was Sofia Rose from the Francis Coppola Winery in California.

From my vast (ahem) knowledge of wines, this is the time of year for Rose. April and May.

You can remember this by a little poem, April and May, time for Rose.

Corny, but it works.

So if you are wanting to try a lighter wine, not too sweet, not too tart. This may just be the one.

(Bear in mind we only tested three bottles, so our field of study was not huge.)
