I volunteer at an organization where we provide services to a client and I went to volunteer yesterday.
The client was late. The client was a no-show. And that could be excused because all sorts of circumstances come up in one's life.
EXCEPT that she had been called the night before and confirmed.
But, again, all sorts of circumstances can occur.
EXCEPT she could call and cancel. Reschedule. Apologize.
Nope. None of that.
And an additional point, this was her THIRD no-show.
I say, third strike and you are out, ESPECIALLY when you can't even be polite or courteous or respectful of anyone else's time and call.
So sad, isn't it?
