He's the same age as our children, but looks ten years younger.
I found that both fascinating and disconcerting at the same time.
He seemed like a nice young man, but there was that experience component, the wisdom, the maturity that his position required that seemed to be missing.
In our beginning work force years we had to earn our way up. Today it seems as if youth fall into jobs more from networking and timing. Hard work via "paying your dues" is no longer a standard.
The change is not good or bad, but more noted.
While I had a pleasant conversation with The Boss, we had so little in common. He was very tolerant and polite. Just like I'm sure he is of all adults who are like his mother. 😉
