The Polar Express

Every year I read The Polar Express to my class, whether they had heard it 100 times before. It is a classic.

So it was with great anticipation that we all boarded The Polar Express Train at the Colorado Museum.

All four grandchildren wore matching pajamas.

We had hot chocolate and cookies before we boarded.

The conductor showed us his pocket watch 

And the older girls were mesmerized when Santa appeared and gave them their bell.

One said it was exactly what she wanted for Christmas and the other put it immediately in her pocket.

It was truly my favorite gift.
