Graduation

from preschool.

Both of my granddaughters will be graduating from preschool.

Aven's was this week.

Here she is in cap and gown. She doesn't even understand why the cap and gown. Somehow I just find the whole ordeal rather intriguing. I think  a kindergarten or elementary or middle school graduation are intended for parents. yet all the parents had to take off work to attend and in this case, the preschool was where they sent their children because they had to work.

Just ironic.

Here she is getting her diploma from her teachers. And standing with her preschool director with her diploma.

She, as well as all her classmates, were so well behaved for the entire TWO HOUR ceremony.

When it was over we asked her if we could take a photo with her in her cap and gown.

No.

She knew we were taking her to lunch and then allowing her to 'skip' school for the day and have Aven and Gg Day.

All she wanted was the cupcake she had been promised. And to get 'outta Dodge"

So we got the cupcake and I managed to get a photo of her in front of the blow up Graduation Dog.

Almost the best part of her day!
