The Chaperone

Cora, is a conservative woman who accompanies Louise Brooks ( a real person) to NYC. It's a real study of a woman's awakening to her own sexuality. The book had some interesting twists and turns, totally unexpected and that kept me interested.

I enjoyed the book, enough to stay up late one night to read!
