Usually I am very sad when I leave my granddaughters, but yesterday was not as sad as usual because I will be seeing both of them the beginning of October for my nephew's wedding.

Just 17 days to go!!!!!!

Also coming home to GREAT weather helps. It makes your surroundings seem so much more palatable.

It gave me energy.

And look what my neighbor brought over.

Celery grown in his own garden. I have never had freshly plucked celery, nor did I know Iowa could grow it. And neither did the local nursery. They told him it wouldn't happen.

Ha, proved them wrong!
