A had school off last Thursday and Friday and we took the girls downtown Denver to Children's Theater production of The Snowy Day, Whistle for Willie, Goggles and A Letter to Amy. The entire production lasted 45 minutes and was geared to young children.
Perfect.
The girls were mesmerized.
They truly enjoyed the play, however what they LOVED the most was the train ride downtown and then the Mall Bus ride up 16th Street. Because you see there are seats that sit up HIGH on the bus. Primo seats I guess. And the HIT of the day.
The girls have been downtown several other times and reminded me that there was a GREAT place for ice cream in Union Station. A knew exactly where it was and lead us directly to it.
It was a chilly day, but never too chilly for ice cream!
