I hated to disappoint her but we had no snow at that time.
However we did take a walk down the street to our mailbox and there was a small patch, about 18 inches by 8 inches and they yelled, "SNOW" They managed to form snowballs and touch it. Oh, it was heaven.
Then imagine their excitement when they awoke the next day to two or three inches of snow. You would have thought it was Christmas morning.
So we went outside and they walked in the snow, did some sledding, and made snow angels.
Both of them were stiff and uncomfortable in snowsuits. They had never had so much clothing on at one time. B was sitting in the sled and wanted to get up. He couldn't do it on his own and said, "Gg, help me." He had no idea how to move. It was hilarious.
It's not snow season until you try a snow angel.
Grandpa and Daddy shoveled the drive way snow in a pile. They are in heaven.
And what child doesn't try to eat snow!
The most disappointing part of their entire trip was that it has been unseasonably cold here. in the low teens. Usually, from our very limited experience, if it snows then the temperature goes to 30 or 40 the next day. Not so for the ENTIRE time the CA kids were here. But we made the best of it and had a wonderful time, as I will share over the next few days.
