I've Always Wanted

to go to another state during the horrible chills of January and this year I have, without leaving home.

Do you believe our weather?

I know it's not sunny California or Florida, BUT it certainly is nice to be outside with the sun and in light jackets.

People are running outside in shorts.

Really, is this Iowa?

I almost want to sit outside at Starbucks with those heaters, just to get my Vitamin D naturally.

Is it because I'm retired and I appreciate everything more?

Is it because I'm older and I appreciate everything more?

Is it because I'm aging and I've forgotten other years like this?

Or is this unique?

Whatever, I'm taking it.
