I recently came upon this project by a NY photographer on what dinner looked like for several people in NY. Check out her photos.
It's intriguing and a great discussion starter...what should dinner look like?
I know from my years in teaching that the last ten or so the family dinner table time dwindled, based upon student input.
Interestingly as my friends become empty nesters I'm discovering they don't eat dinner together as a couple. They may not eat a meal at all, but just graze the night away.
Ed and I still eat dinner together. I still cook. I just think nutrition is important, because if we graze, it may not be good food or it may be too much food.
And does not having dinner together as a family change the family dynamics? Again, good discussion...over dinner?
