Sunday in Boulder

The highlight of our day was a drive to Boulder and a tour of Celestial Seasonings.

I was in heaven. I've been drinking Celestial Seasonings for years, but not since 1969 when they first started.

Here's the Tea Shop where you can purchase some of the 70 different teas they make -

One of the sayings in the windows -

In order to tour the factory we all had to wear hairnets. I'm the attractive one on the right.

Because Brad has facial hair, he got the special gift of a beard mask...

Then you get to taste teas. Not quite the same as the wine tastings, but it leaves you with better balance.

The tables had these meditative, zen like sayings.

Natalie bought some caramel corn made by Patsy and here's his story. He (Patsy) made great caramel corn,  everyone wanted to buy his recipe, but he wouldn't sell. Then he was playing a card game, lost and what he lost was his recipe.

However he gave them a bogus recipe, which turned into Cracker Jack.

So he was able to continue to produce HIS original caramel corn.

Cool, huh? Something to be said for 'white' lies.

A wonderful day...
