Paint can #7

I may have discussed this in an earlier post, but it's worthy of a second posting.

In July when we selected the interior of our home we chose our wood flooring and Stain #7 to match for the bannister.

One day when we walked into our home the bannister was stained -

Does this look like it matches?

So we called our sales agent and the building superintendent. Their first response was "You chose stain #7, the can says stain #7, so that's what you get."

You can imagine our fury, but with some calm persistence we managed to get them to come and see the bannister and while they did not state it was their error, they acknowledged it was AN error.

And would be corrected.

And today it was. So much better.
